After realizing KIRUDEF has limited sources of funds ,we came up with the idea of Eco-tourism to serve as an alternative source of income to meet the cost of running the various activities of KIRUDEF. In this KIRUDEF intends to set up an Eco-tourism center with a hotel, and a mini zoo containing various primates in the locality. Tours through the KIRUDEF Eco-tourism center can and shall be made to various tourists sites in the country to view the unique flora and founa species in Uganda as well as the varying landscape. The proceeds from such tours will be vested in KIRUDEF's activities. In addition to that, the Eco-tourism center is also intended to provide employment to youth in the locality as drivers, tour guides and attendants more so providing market for food stuff.
